Computrace Data Protection - 2 Year, 1-2499 Users
Based on our patented Computrace persistence technology, Computrace products provide you with a constant connection to all of the computers in your deployment. If attempts are made to remove Computrace from a device, the technology simply rebuilds itself. Computrace products allow you to easily identify computers that have gone missing or are at risk.
Create rules to manage devices and receive alerts if any rules are broken. Proactively investigate any suspicious behaviour and, if security measures are required, send commands from the Absolute Customer Center to freeze a device, delete data, or – in the event of theft – contact the Absolute Theft Recovery team who will engage with local law enforcement to recover the computer and solve the crime. Enjoy the ease of a single interface to manage all of your IT assets within the Absolute Customer Center. You can manage your entire deployment regardless if a device is on or off your company network. Use the data-rich reports to monitor user information, licenses, hardware, installed applications, and other device details.
<b>Data & Device Security</b>
Remotely delete sensitive data on missing computers and produce an audit log of the deleted files to prove your compliance with government and corporate privacy regulations. Use Device Freeze to freeze a computer and display a custom message to the user encouraging them to comply with specific requests for action (return for servicing, user ID validation, etc.). <b>Geotechnology</b>
Use GPS or Wi-Fi technology to track your assets on an internet map. Build pre-defined areas (geofences) and apply rules and receive alerts if a device strays outside of the fenced area. Watch the geofencing viewlet.
<b>Theft Recovery</b>
If your computer is stolen, contact us. The Absolute Theft Recovery Team recovers thousands of stolen computers each year and will work with local police agencies to recover your property and return it to you.
<b>Service Guarantee</b>
If a computer protected with our Service Guarantee is stolen, we will recover it or you may be eligible to receive up to $1000 per computer. Certain conditions apply. Read our Service Agreement for further details.
