The increasing prevalence of network cameras requires tailored recording solutions – such as the Eytron 16-channel network video recorder. The NVR allows real-time recording and management of 16 ABUS VGA network cameras or 8 ABUS megapixel cameras. A live view is possible on four channels, whilst data transmission to the monitor is made over VGA or HDMI. Thanks to the innovative multicolour status LEDs, you are kept constantly informed of the recorder status. Four different flashing and lighting signal variations indicate whether the DVR is recording, is in Guard mode (active schedule, no recording at present), is ready for operation or if a fault is present (failure of video signal, HDD etc.). Each individual button on the camera also lights up to indicate whether a camera is connected and whether the channel is recording. Up to eight SATA HDDs (not included in delivery) can be connected for data storage. The CMS (Central Monitoring Software) recorder software offers a special advantage when managing many locations from a central point. The user can access different NVRs installed in different locations from one PC using the ABUS CMS. This allows effective, central video management – not least thanks to the typically simple and intuitive software interface from ABUS. The NVR is also equipped with intelligent alarm and security functions: An e-mail containing images can be sent to pre-defined addresses in the event of an alarm or motion detection. An acoustic warning signal or OSD signal can also be made at the same time. The 16-channel NVR is the optimal solution for all users who also rely on complete, fully-equipped stand-alone recorders for IP-based video recording. As no operating system is necessary, these digital recorders are protected against viruses and online threats. This is a plus point for the safety of your IP video data.
