Aluminium removable Hard Drive kit for 3.5" Serial ATA hard drive The Addonics Mobile Rack II is a removable drive kit designed specially to turn an Serial ATA hard drive into a hot swap removable hard drive. Constructed with Aluminum for use in harsh and rough handling environment, the enclosure provides sturdy hard drive protection and efficient heat dissipation for the high RPM Serial ATA hard drive.

Turn SATA hard drive into SCSI
By attaching an optional SATA - SCSI converter onto the back of the drive cradle, you can instantly connect any SATA hard drive to a SCSI controller. You can now replace the expensive SCSI hard drive with a low cost, high performance and high capacity SATA hard drive. Since the SATA hard drive can easily be removed from the drive cradle, the same drive can be interchanged with other drive cradles connected in a SATA system.

When the hard drive is removed from the drive cradle, it can also be conveniently used as an external Serial ATA hard drive by attaching the Addonics optional Serial ATA power adapter and external Serial ATA cable.
