ADTRAN® SFP transceivers are ideally suited for our broadband access portfolio product line that will allow service providers to leverage existing investments in their fiber infrastructure. The XFP and SFPs operate across our Broadband Access product line including the Total Access® 5000, Total Access 3000, Total Access OSP DSLAMs, and NetVanta® 800 Series. ADTRAN’s XFP and SFPs provide the ability to deliver a full range of service types, including broadband data, Internet access, business and entertainment video, and telephony using Ethernet transport over fiber and copper facilities.
The ADTRAN XFP and SFP portfolio offers a wide array of deployment options in terms of interface speeds, distances, and transmission media, including multimode fiber, single mode fiber, copper, and Wavelength Division Multiplexing fiber interfaces. ADTRAN XFP and SFPs provide the ability to add services and features as needed instead of incurring a large up-front cost. Services can be activated quickly and with great flexibility. All ADTRAN XFP and SFPs come with a minimum one year warranty and are either industrial commercial temperature rated.
The Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Gigabit Ethernet, Single-Fiber is a bidirectional SFP that installs into the Optical Loop Termination (OLT) designed to accept SFPs. The SFP provides a single optical interface to the GigE physical interface. Installed into an appropriate OLT, the SFP provides a Gigabit Ethernet interface to the supporting system.
