The amplifier MAP 308 combines superb presentation, rational design and perfect technical accuracy.
The number of sockets available enables numerous connections to different sources. : analogic or digital.
Six inputs, whose commutation is performed by relays, enable to connect five high-level sources as well as a phono input for a turntable equipped with a moving magnet cartridge, or moving coil cartridge. A built-in Analog Devices converter 24-bit x 384 kHz that permits to connect 5 digital sources as a CD player, a DVD player as well as computer with our kit ADV USB 10542 ( USB key with optical output) and ADVACS35 (optical cable) . A plug for headset on the right front panel.
The MAP 308 consists of a partitioned ultra-rigid chassis, providing effective shielding, which eliminates any risk of interference between the different circuits of the device.
Components are carefully chosen and selected. The high power toroïdal transformer (600 VA) is linked to high current bipolar power transistors assembly , which gives MAP308 awesome performing power. Indeed, MAP308 produces an output of 100 W per channel in class AB, a commutator "HIGH BIAS" in the rear panel of the device, enables to commute the amplifier in class A up to 30 watts. Beyond this limit,the amplifier commutes automatically in class AB.
Musically, the initial objective is fully achieved and never faulted in terms of output and dynamics. It ensures a smooth and accurate rendition, showing balance and moderation.
Whatever the source you are listenning, it will enable everyone to enjoy exceptional musical quality.
It is also possible to disconnect the pre-amplifier, from the amplifier, with the remote control, in order to use subwoofer for example, or use only the power amplifier to improve the musical output of the front left and front right channels, in Audio Video. In the rear panel, you will find a switch that permits to light off or on the vumeters.
A "Record" output makes it possible to connect a recorder.
A remote control device delivered with MAP 308 makes it easier to use.
