As displays are also getting thinner, you can still mount a DS-060 series unit on the back of a display for an all-in-one look and feel. The Advantech DS-060 series lets you drive digital signage from just about anywhere, even space-challenged places that previously would have been unthinkable.

Despite its diminutive size, the DS-060 series keeps all the power features you expect in performance signage players. With Intel® QM77 chipset, SKUs range from the high-computing-based 3rd generation Core™ i7 to value-driven Intel® Celeron® B810E. The Intel® NM10 offers two low-power configurations based on Intel® Atom™ D2550 and N2600. With the support of internal 2.5’’ SATA drives, enabling mass storage capacity on this slim player is more cost-effective than ever. Following recent display trends, the Intel® Core™ i7 and Celeron® models both feature a DisplayPort output, while the Intel® Atom™ based models come equipped with HDMI. A qualified DisplayPort-to-HDMI converter can also be sourced from Advantech. And wireless, Bluetooth, or 3G are optional via mini PCIe.

DS-060 Ultra Slim Series not only supports multiple OS options but also integrates Advantech SUSIAccess, a suite of application program interfaces that allows users to directly monitor and control digital I/O, CPU speed, watchdog timers, smart fans and access hardware. SUSIAccess is an application that lets system integrators centralize the monitoring and managing of digital signage players deployed in the field. And now it provides powerful functions for system network management: complete McAfee protection from unwanted applications, and simple backup and recovery via Acronis. As a result, the DS-060 Ultra Slim Series not only supports rich media for dynamic content processing, but also offers remote or centralized management (including content, as well as hardware and software).
