The OPTIMA 1438m comes in a slim-line metal housing and presents a ten-megapixel CCD sensor, a 4x optical zoom and a 3" display. The lens offers a focal range of between 30mm and 128mm.This means that you can capture shots in small interior spaces or take group photos on sightseeing tours
The 23 scene modes provide flexible adjustment for each situation, which can be easily set up by the photographer. Videos with sound can be captured in VGA resolution (640 x 480) at 30 frames per second and zoomed during recording.
The Panorama function enables 360º shots to be compiled using the supplied software. A further practical feature is the "Coupling shot" function: two photos can be merged whilst still in the camera. "Smile detection" ensures that the camera captures the shot just at the moment when the smile happens. The picture stabiliser reduces shaking on shutter release. The camera is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery and supports the SDHC memory card format.
