Remote Management
The Ether-FSH2422W allows users to configure the switch through local LAN or over the Internet from web browser.
Tag Based VLAN
Unlike ordinary web management switch that has only rudimentary port settings function. The Ether- FSH2422W equipped with some very useful and advance management features. Tag based VLAN allow administrators to configure VLAN groups across different switches. Private VID function is supported to allow switches to write tag information into the packet. Defining complex VLAN function across the entire networks has become much easier.
Rate Control, Trunking, Broadcast/Multicast filter
The data rate control allows limiting the speed of each port form 32Kbps to 64Mbps (18 levels). This is very useful for internet café or FTTH operator as the broadcast/multicast filter control prevents one single station flooding the network with broadcast packet.
Port Trunk with LACP
Port based Trunking allows combining several ports to multiply the speed of one link. The Ether- FSH2422W support up to 4 trunk port members or 3 trunk groups. The priority allows each port to have 2 priority queues. Finally port mirror is provided to allow MIS to sniff the packet of each port for diagnostic purpose.
