Product Description:
Delivering ADSL/ADSL2 and ADSL2+ enables service providers to offer connections of 24 Mbps downstream with the CopperJet 1612. Furthermore, ADSL2+ extends the reach of ADSL.
The benefits of ADSL2/2+ are higher speeds up to 24 Mbps downstream; Low Power Mode (LPM) enables overall power savings by entering into sleep mode when the connection is not being used; Seamless rate adaptation (SRA) enables the system to change the data rate of the connection without any service interruption; Bonding of ADSL lines provides higher data rates; Fast startup reduces initialization time; Reach can be increased with almost 30%.
The CopperJet 1612 provides layer 2 Bridging, layer 3 Routing and integrates a full featured firewall for security.
