Product Description:
The CopperJet 426 is a Voice over SHDSL (ATM) Integrated Access Device based on ITU G.991.2 SHDSL Annex A and Annex B technology designed to address the high-speed delivery of a large amounts of data through regular copper phone wires. With the CJT 426 users can benefit from state of the art SHDSL connections for their business applications.
The CJT 426 supports 4 POTS connections on RJ11 connectors that can be used for telephony (analog phones), fax or PaBX services using its integrated residential exchange functions. It has proven interoperability with BLES (DSL-Forum), Paradyne/Jetstream, Cirpack, TDSoft, Siemens and Alcatel Voice Gateways.
The IAD also provides full layer 3 Routing, layer 2 Bridging and combines software security for added versatility.
An integrated 4 port 10/100Mbps Ethernet Switch allows 4 LAN devices (eg PC’s) to be connected. This removes the requirement for an external Ethernet Hub, and reduces overall system cost.
This development from Allied Data Technologies is a combination of Data and Voice in order to supply customers a total package of datacommunications and telephony.
