The APart PMR4000R is a professional multi source music player with internet radio, UPnP and USB media player, compatible with MP3, WMA, FLAC and WAV audio files and integrated FM RDS Tuner. The unit is equipped with analog outputs, optical digital output for the digital media player, wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi 2.4G. Because the PMR4000R features a menu guided setup and operation, it is very installer and user-friendly.
UPnP media servers provide media library information and stream media data (audio files) to UPnP- clients on the network. Make sure the PMR4000R and the other devices (where the music is stored) are connected to the same local area network and the UPnP server installed on the PMR4000R connects different media libraries in your local network in order to play your favourite music.
The internet radio of the PMR4000R allows you to listen to numerous internet radio stations worldwide. Broadband internet access (wired or wireless) is necessary to use this feature. You can search and store your favourite channels as presets very easily through the web portal.
Music stored on a USB memory stick can also be played by the PMR4000R if the USB is formatted in FAT32 file system. All music files stored on the USB will be shown in the scroll list when you put the USB into the USB slot on the front of the unit and will start playing once you've selected them.
