PowerChute Plus - Complete package - 1 user - SGI Irix - English
At any moment an electrical anomaly could strike your network, subjecting it to all kinds of possible damage. To enhance the reliability and manageability of your network, you need the PowerChute Plus for SGI Irix. UPS PowerChute plus dramatically enhances network reliability by automatically responding to protect system/data integrity during power crisis situations. Because every network and network environment is unique, and because a network administrator knows best what types of problems threaten each segment of the network, PowerChute plus lets you customize each UPS unit's response to power events and environmental hazards. PowerChute plus software also ensures that the system is safely shut down and that data is safely stored before battery backup power is exhausted, even if the system is unattended. This means that you no longer have to race around to shut off systems before the batteries become depleted. And if you are planning to connect more than one server to the same UPS, PowerChute plus provides safe, unattended, multiple server shutdown. Event notification for both users and network administrators also ensures that important data can be protected while maintaining productivity. Because you never know when a power crisis situation may arise, PowerChute plus offers you proactive UPS management. It schedules a Smart-UPS or Matrix-UPS to perform periodic self-tests to monitor the health of the UPS. When necessary, it will also turn off the UPS's power outlets, conserving the battery for subsequent power outages while decreasing recharge time. PowerChute plus includes a managed power tool box for graphical displays, event logging, and parameter configurations. It even allows you to program remote UPSs from a local workstation. And for Internet/intranet integration, PowerChute plus provides three features: WebAgent, allowing users to monitor their UPS utilizing a Web browser; WebAlert, notifying those using a Web browser that a UPS is running on battery and that the server will be shut down; and Web Server Shutdown, providing unattened graceful shutdown of a Web server application in the event of an extended power outage. Don't be left in the dark when power problems strike. Use your UPS's to their fullest potential. Get PowerChute plus.
