LVDS display data cable for 1GHz, 1.2GHz, 1.33GHz & 1.5GHz (BlueTooth 1.1) models of 15" Aluminium PowerBook G4. This cable will not work with the Bluetooth 2 version of the 1.5GHz PowerBook or any of the 1.67GHz models. This cable can be distinguished from the later version as it is longer at the logic board end. The LVDS cable carries the image data from the logic board, through the hingle to the back of the LCD panel. Failure of this cable can result in intermittent or scrambled display image, noise on the display image or a complete loss of the screen image (backlight would typically still be on).
