Optical bezel/bracket, for iMac Pioneer (07/08) This is a used part from a recycled computer. In the case of a functional part, it has been fully tested prior to putting in stock and is guaranteed to be fully functional.\n\nOptical drive caddy/bezel for Pioneer optical drives for all mid-2007 and early-2008 models of the 20" & 24" aluminium Intel iMac. There are small, manufacturer-specific tabs along the front edge of the bezel slot. This bezel can be used with other drive brands by trimming these off though we cannot recommend this.\nThis bezel screws onto the chassis and holds the optical drive in place. The unusually large distance between the edge of the optical drive slot and the iMac casing means that the iMac requires an optical drive that grabs the disk at least 25mm out from the drive. Most optical drives do not (typically 20-22mm) and so only a very few models of drive will function in the aluminium iMacs and Apple had modified versions of some drive models produced for them to allow for this.
