Adapt your handset to your needs
The d62 handset is the ideal solution when effective communication can have a direct effect on safety, health or security. It is available in a number of license-dependent main models. There is the quality telephone (Talker), which can be upgraded to a professional messaging device (Messenger), which in turn can be licensed as an advanced personal alarm handset (Protector). Additionally, other license options are available for different functionalities. This means that the capability of the d62 can be easily adapted as your requirements change or grow.
Advanced messaging interaction
The messaging capability of the d62 makes it ideal for applications such as integration with nurse call or patient monitoring. A call from a patient terminal can be sent directly to the handset, indicating the type of call and location of the patient. The nurse can speak directly to the patient or acknowledge a message with a push of a button. If the nurse is unavailable, the call is automatically rerouted to another nurse. Messages can also be prioritized in two ways – by presenting them according to priority in the message list or by color coding. Patient monitoring events that include image presentations as waveform snapshots can also be presented in the handset.
Smoother upgrades and reduced downtime
Centralized management allows for smooth, trouble-free software upgrades and parameter synchronizations. The individual settings on each handset are stored centrally. With an IP-DECT system, administration of end-user devices can be easily facilitated over the air (OTA). Both systems offer great advantages in terms of flexibility and cost efficiency.
