With the multi-cell IP-DECT system, you are available everywhere in the company. Larger areas can also be covered with ease by interconnecting several base stations (radio cells) beyond building boundaries with wireless telephony. While you move around the company buildings the call connection is automatically transferred from one base to the next – and of course without interruption.
Up to ten COMfortel DECT IP1040 bases can be interconnected to form a system. The DECT system has ten channels available for simultaneous call connections. Up to 40 handsets can be registered with the bases irrespective of the configuration level of the PBX.
The COMfortel DECT 900C handsets provide you with the most important central telephone book entries from the PBX, also on the move. You can decide whether you synchronize 250 telephone book entries with the system or if you use the telephone book in the handset for your individual entries.
DECT bases are usually installed as high up as possible for optimal radio coverage. Unfortunately you rarely find power sockets for the necessary power supply. The COMfortel DECT IP1040 bases require no additional power supply, as they are supplied via the LAN interface (PoE – Power over Ethernet).
The COMfortel DECT IP1040 bases include everything you need for initial startup. Besides a PoE injector to input the operating voltage via the Ethernet, we also supply you with two network cables. You receive the DECT system ARI required for initial operation free of charge from the Auerswald Upgrade Center. The ARI activates the DECT system and enables functions.
