Unfortunately, that hasn't always been possible for some athletes. And above all swimmers. The wetness involved just kiled off MP3 players after their first immersion. Auna has now solved the problem with the Hydro, a waterproof MP3 players that will bring musical enjoyment to swimming halls, beaches and outdoor pools. Or to any other activity where moisture is a problem, such as surfing and kite surfing, or in winter when skiing and snowboarding are possible.

In a water suited droplet-look the small MP3 player boasts an internal 8GB flash drive, thus offering MP3 and WMA files enough space for hours of music or radio enjoyment, without having to indulge in annoying repetitions. The body of the compact player boasts IPX-8 protection. This means that it can be immersed permanently, up to 3m deep underwater, without drowning. With a rotating clip on the back, it can be attached to swim caps, goggles, bikinis or swimsuits. The in-ear headphones will connect to your ears with three moldable watertight rubber parts. They also have removable ear hooks, which will hold on tight when swimming or diving.

For importing data a USB cable is also included. This is simply plugged in, in place of the audio cable, to your Auna MP3 player and connects to the home PC or laptop. Through this connection the internal lithium-polymer battery is also recharged.
