A Duplex Scanner Suited for Document and Cards
Thanks to the advanced straight paper path and image processing technology, mixed batches of documents with varies sizes and weights can be scanned, appropriately cropped, deskewed, and ready to use. Scan size accepts paper from receipts (2” x 2.5”) to business document (8.5” x 14”). The auto document feeder is also robust enough to feed paper up to 400 g/m2 and embossed hard cards such as ID cards, credit cards, driver’s license, and health insurance card up to 1.25mm in thickness. What is best, up to 3 plastic ID cards in 0.8mm (thickness) and 20 pages of document in 20 lbs can be loaded and scanned continuously without operator adjustments.

The AV1860 delivers fast scan rates of 40 pages per minutes in simplex and 80 images per minutes in duplex at 200 dpi and 300 dpi color, providing a truly breathtaking digitalizing experience.
Long Page Scanning up to 118"
The reliable paper feed system also lets you scan unusually long document up to 3 meters (118”) at 300 dpi in color, grayscale, or black and white. This is ideal for scanning engineering diagram, insurance bill, health record or other special documents.

AV1860 incorporates the latest TWAIN driver with new features and enhancement such as the ability to adjust sensitivity of dynamic threshold, document/photo color matching, custom color dropout, automatic multiple cropping, intelligent multi-feed, reduce despeckle, image count, digital imprinter, and transport timeout. Earth-Friendly LED Technology
The AV1860 delivers high throughput and outstanding performance. However, it is earth-friendly at the same time. The LED technology requires no warm up time and is lower power consumption without generating mercury vapor as other traditional scanners using the CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp) technology.

AVScan 5.0
AVScan 5.0 is the latest version with a new structure used to replace AVScan 4.3. The enhanced user interface increases ease of use such as new tree structure, TWAIN interface with advanced scan settings, integrated FTP upload function, batch import/export of images, new image editing tools and enhancing filters, split batch documents and tons more, while still retaining a familiar layout.
