Further Details
If you want to expand your network without a lot of cost or effort, this basic Gigabit Ethernet Switch is a great choice for large and medium environments, to boost network performance and efficiency.
Connect it to up to 24 Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, or Ethernet devices: an autonegotiation feature assures you that the devices are operating at the right speed and in the proper duplex mode. And an Auto MDI/MDI-X feature means every port can automatically sense the type of cable, eliminating the need for crossover cables whether you are connecting the switch to another switch or to a computer.
You’ll save time transferring large files, too, because it also supports jumbo frames 9.6K to most efficiently handle large file transfers.
Features include:
Autonegotiation: Every port can automatically sense if the connected network devices are running at 10, 100, or 1000 Mbps, or half-or full-duplex mode, and adjust accordingly.
Non-blocking: This switch receives and forwards traffic seamlessly with its non-blocking wire speed. Every port simultaneously supports up to 2000 Mbps of bandwith in full-duplex mode, providing full wire speed to the connected devices and enabling you to run a smooth network.
Store-and-forward transmission: Maximizes network performance while minimizing the propagation of bad network packets.
IEEE 802.x flow control for full-duplex mode and collision-based backpressure for half-duplex mode.
