V.42 bis, V.32 bis, and MNP® 5 data compression give you maximum async data throughput—57.6 kbps—for lower phone bills. And V.terbo enables sync data to run 19.2 kbps over 4-wire leased lines or 2-wire dialup lines. Simulated switch-carrier operation (V.13) makes the Modem 32144 perfect for synchronous IBM® mainframe networks.
