Our compact wireless Industrial Modem RF115 opens up a whole new world of options for establishing vital async data links in really tough environments.

Industrial Modem RF115 uses Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum wireless technology to broadcast async data quickly and securely where dialup lines and copper wires don't reach or are too costly to install. Electromagnetic and radio interference (EMI and RFI), industrial motors, even temperature extremes are no hazards to communication when you use the Industrial Modem RF115.

Set up two modems with either standard or optional antennas in a point-to-point configuration to connect an alarm unit, distant data-collection terminal, or remote-control device. Or contact multiple remote devices in a polled multipoint setting.

In addition to providing error-free throughput and data security, the Industrial Modem RF115 offers excellent throughput rates. Each modem includes a fixed-whip antenna but can be outfitted with any of the optional RF Antennas, which can be located up to 100 feet (30.4 m) from your base unit. For communication up to 20 miles (32.1 km), set up the antennas in a direct line-of-sight configuration. And with two repeaters, you can transmit up to 60 miles (96.5 km) in line-of-sight connections! Be sure to use lightning arrestors when using outdoor antennas.
