This attractively priced IP streaming solution multicasts HDMI® video and audio to a virtually unlimited number of screens on a network. Even better, it can output a single source video on video walls.
Buy only a single transmitter and add a receiver for each display in the video wall. Each receiver scales and outputs the right part of the picture for its video wall display.
This economical solution is just what you need not only to reach distant displays on your Ethernet network, but also to create visually eye-catching video walls to advertise and promote while projecting your message and content on a larger scale.
The MediaCento IPX PoE Multicast Video Wall system is ideal for distributing digital signage content or other HD video and audio across an Ethernet network. Because the transmitter and receivers install directly into your existing LAN infrastructure, integration is easy. There's no need to run expensive dedicated links from a back room to digital signage in lobbies.
You need just one transmitter and up to 64 receivers for an 8 x 8 video wall. The system transmits up to 328 feet (100 m) per link, but goes even longer when additional network switches are added to the mix. You can even use fiber with media converters to go several miles if needed. Its signal is completely digital from end to end, so your digital content is never compromised.
Lossless compression for HD extension.
The MediaCento IPX PoE Multicast Video Wall system features IGMP support and packetizes signals so all your HD source content can be delivered anywhere you want over Ethernet wiring.
It works in point-to-point or point-to-multipoint configurations. Just plug in as many receivers as you need at your remote screens. From one MediaCento IPX PoE Multicast Video Wall Transmitter, you can have 16 different multicast groups to multiple receivers in multicast mode.
Featuring visually lossless compression, the MediaCento IPX PoE Multicast Video Wall units transmit broadcast-quality video and audio, and support Full 1080p resolution no matter what the distance or the number of screens, as well as all common PC resolutions (XGA, SXGA, UXGA, WSXGA) up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz.
Extremely easy to set up and use.
The MediaCento IPX PoE Multicast Video Wall system also supports RS-232 for configuration and control, and for extending bidirectional control signals. Use this serial link to switch screens on or off.
To configure video for output on a video wall, simply access the system's Web-based interface. You don't need to install any software on your source equipment. Just plug in your HDMI source and begin configuring your matrix of screens.
In addition, there's no need to configure any IP settings (although more experienced users can do that if needed). Simply use rotary switches to set the transmitter and receivers to the same multicast channel and all IP multicasting settings are automatically configured; then just connect your source, your display(s), and a network switch.
PoE powered
The MediaCento IPX PoE series can be powered using standard PoE network technology. Using a PoE network switch completely eliminates the need for external power supplies making the installation even easier.
The MediaCento IPX PoE Multicast Video Wall system is great for:
- Any digital signage application with screens in different buildings or stores.
- Any digital signage application where you want to set up video walls.
- Distributing high-quality medical imaging video across a hospital campus.
- Streaming video to classrooms in schools or training rooms with a matrix of screens.
- Multicasting video in command and control room setups, particularly those with a wall of monitors.
- Corporate video sharing and training.
