The mSR X builds on it's predecessors ability to provide relatively new co-axial heli pilots a platform with a blend of stability and agility to give them the confidence they need to successfully make the transition to single-rotor flight.
The new Blade mSR X expands the capabilities of this popular "next step" platform with the addition of an advanced AS3X 3-axis flybarless stabilization system. Instead of using a mechanical flybar to stabilize the rotor head, the AS3X system uses a 3-axis digital MEMS sensor and exclusive control software.
The sense of stability and positive control AS3X delivers is something no other single-rotor, fixed pitch heli its size can match. In fact, the precision with which AS3X makes it possible for an mSR X to hold position in hover or maintain a desired flight attitude, even in breezy conditions, is something you simply have to feel to believe.
The mSR X also comes equipped with more powerful motors and a new, more efficient main rotor blade design. The extra power and new blades, combined with the benefits of AS3X, give the mSR X enough agility to fly basic aerobatics in the hands of an experienced stick.
But even with these advanced capabilities, the mSR X remains at heart an ideal way for co-axial heli pilots to enter the exciting world of single-rotor flight. It just lets them have even more fun once they get there.
