The TravelPilot Rome Europe NAV56E is the perfect combination of a highly efficient navigation system with a top end car radio. The Rome’s extremely high quality, colour TFT display boasts a split screen with permanent street level mapping as well as clear arrow symbols. Precise spoken instructions are played through the vehicle’s sound system at a volume level to suit your needs. In addition, you can listen to MP3’s, WMA’s or your favourite CD while navigating due to an integrated memory corridor. Simply enter the destination and the system will remember the route allowing the navigation CD to be swapped for a music one. Even if you deviate from your route, the navigation system will still be able to guide you to your destination. The unit does not require a speed pulse connection and can therefore be installed quickly and easily, saving both time and installation costs.
