OMNIUM Bacpack The side entry layout provides swift access to the complete camera bay, and its geometric layout ensures maximum use of space and stability.
With the Omnium you can chose location without compromising on equipment.
The word “omnium” is Latin for “all around” which in essence describe the construction of the Omnium, as the protective frame surrounds the complete equipment bay, and allows for even camcorders to be slotted in “ready for action”. The frame also provides comfortable carrying, and act as a support table, when it is carried on the front. Very much like a simplistic steady cam rig, you are free to walk around, tilt up or down or rotate for a panning sequence, as the bag follows your body movements.
The waist belt can quickly be repositioned to comfortably carry the bag in “ready-steady” position, moving the weight to your hips instead of your shoulders.
The internal camera bay allows for either two full body cameras, inserted holster style, or a two storey layout, with a lower lens compartment, and an upper camera+zoom with lens compartment, or camcorder mode with most of the dividers removed.
You can also bring up to 17 inch laptop to review recordings on site.
Externally, the Omnium is equipped with quick release tripod attachment, and additional fastening points for other equipment, like tent or pack-bags.
