Thermo detector <b>Reveals critical areas in the entire house</b>
The PTD 1 thermo detector from Bosch enables home owners to quickly and easily determine where thermal bridges and mould risk areas are hiding – before they begin with renovation. This saves time and protects the health of the whole family. Thanks to its classical pistol shape, this tool is easy to handle and sits comfortably in the hand during every measurement. At the press of a button, a laser circle marks the measuring area on the wall or object. The maximum working range of the PTD 1 is 5 m, and a measuring distance of 1 m is optimal. The tool is switched on either using a button on the control panel or using the switch on the handle. The result is displayed using three LEDs: Red means acute risk, yellow means increased risk, green means no risk.

The PTD 1 thermo detector from Bosch indicates thermal bridges and mould risk areas quickly and easily at the press of a button. This enables you to effortlessly locate poorly insulated windows or uninsulated areas in exterior walls. According to which mode is selected, the tool measures room temperature, surface temperature of walls and objects, and humidity, assesses these values in relation to each other and interprets the data. This made possible by three sensors and Bosch-developed software. The result is shown to the user in a traffic light system by three coloured LED lights. Red, yellow or green light makes it clear whether action needs to be taken.

<b>Easy measurement quickly provides the result</b>
The PTD 1 thermo detector from Bosch is operated using only a few buttons. It has three modes: In the first mode, the tool measures the surface temperature of walls and objects, such as radiators, with a measuring accuracy of ±1° C. This is enables you determine, for example, whether radiators or air conditioners are working properly. In the second mode, the PTD 1 measures surface and room temperature and determines whether thermal bridges occur at the measured location. If a thermal bridge has been discovered, the tool warns you of this using a red LED. In the third mode, the thermo detector measures the room and surface temperature and the humidity with an accuracy of ±2%. It uses these three values to detect mould risk areas. If it detects a risk, the tool warns you with a red LED.
