Textile Protector Plus
The unique Braun Textile Protector Plus is an easy-to-use click-on soleplate, which enables you to use full steam on delicate fabrics, safely. This is a unique advantage as most other irons do not produce steam on a one dot (•) setting and produce only a little steam on the two dot (••) setting. The Textile protector however enables full steam on any fabric, even the most delicate ones, and more steam means a better result, and a quicker one as well.
The Textile Protector Plus also prevents the chance of getting shiny patches on your dark fabrics, as it reduces the soleplate temperature to a safe but still highly effective level. By clicking-on the Textile Protector Plus, the soleplate temperature is reduced instantly, so you no longer have to wait and can further benefit from being free of the hassles of using an in-between piece of cloth.

Precision Tip
Perfect finish is about the details, and for ironing details you use the tip of the soleplate.
Typically more than 60% of the ironing is done with the tip however normal irons give only little steam at this point.
The unique steam vent configuration of the TexStyle Control brings the steam closer to the tip of the iron, right there where you need it and ensures better ironing results even in the hard to reach areas.
Precision shot
Getting wrinkles out of Garments is the core of ironing. However on some fabrics very-hard-to-remove wrinkles appear which asks for additional moisture. TexStyle Control responds to this need with the unique Precision Shot.
With the push of a button, the Precision Shot releases an impressive 120 g/min of steam from the front part of the soleplate that penetrates deep into the fabric and eliminates creases effortlessly, as well as through the front nozzles; pre-conditioning the area to be ironed.
You will be able to achieve perfect results even on tough fabrics.
Saphir Soleplate
A high quality soleplate is essential to bring the iron performance on and into the fabric.
TexStyle Control´s unique Saphir soleplate with more than 120 vents ensures the widest possible distribution of steam for the best results in all areas.
Four times harder than stainless steel, the soleplate with excellent scratch resistance, guarantees a smooth glide for years to come while looking like new.
Thanks to its high scratch resistance, you will be able to clean with steel wool and easily remove dirt without damaging the plate.
