Or if you want to add some Italian invention to your cooking, use the VTP113 to prepare a risotto with the risotto and sauté functions. These two controls help you move from preparing the meat or seafood to adding the rice, so that one single pot prepares an entire meal.

Just start by cooking on the sauté function to brown the meat/ seafood and any extra ingredients such as onions or garlic. Once this has cooked to the desired degree, add the rice and then the water and/ or stock. It's now time to switch to the risotto function and this will automatically change to the warm setting. Continue to cook the dish for another 20-30 minutes and then use the included spoon to stir in any final ingredients such as cheese, herbs or seasoning.

The VTP113 remains on the warm setting for a further 30 minutes before switching off so that even after cooking has completed, the dish remains appetisingly warm so you can reach for seconds without it having gone cold.
