HD-CXU2 Series is a hard disk where your data is safely protected.
Hardware Security does not require any software installation on the computer and can be used anywhere by simply entering the individual password.
At first use the consumer chooses his password and as a result all data written to the hard disk drive is secured with AES 256bit encryption. This prevents unauthorised access.
This Model switches on and off automatically with the connected host device. If you use the drive with Buffalo’s ECO Manager you can set the device to switch to hibernation mode after a certain amount of time.
This Model remains visible on your PC and anytime you start to use it the device will wake up automatically.Reducing the power consumption has never been easier!
