Console UTP Extender Access your PS/2 computer from a remote console (keyboard/monitor/mouse) up to 500 feet away. This UTP extender is great for factory and construction sites, or any type of installation where the console must be accessible, but in a safe place - away from dust, dirt, and harsh environmental influences. It is also handy for control and security tasks, where you can have the system unit in a secure area while the console is located where it can be conveniently accessed.

This extender provides the ideal means to access the remote system box, by using inexpensive Cat5 UTP cable. This makes a much neater, more convenient, more reliable data transfer connection. Setup is incredibly easy; just connect the PC system box and local console to the local module; run the UTP cable to the remote module (up to 500ft away); and plug the remote console into the remote module. Maximum resolution is XGA (1024 pixels x 768 pixels).
