Plenum Rated Velcro Cable Wrap, Maroon, 100 Pieces, Retail Box The fire-retardant version of Cables Unlimited Plenum Rated self-gripping fasteners is a polypropylene hook laminated to an FR-treated nylon loop. Plenum rated straps are valuable because they are allowed (by building code) in a plenum or air handling space like a hung ceiling or a raised floor. This product meets acceptance as a wire positioning device (16SA) in air handling spaces, in accordance with Section 300-22 paragraph (c) and (d) of the National Electrical Code. This allows for wire or cable management above a hung ceiling or raised floor. Our plenum rated straps are maroon on one side and black on the other. Maroon is recognized by building inspectors as a color designating plenum rated Velcro.
