XGA resolution
The LV-X5 projects images at XGA resolution (1024 x 768 pixels) for clear, legible presentations with no loss of detail. Resolution extends to UXGA (1600 x 1200) using high-quality compression.
Comfortable brightness
The LV-X5 delivers a controlled 1500 lumens output. This gives sufficient brightness without risking the eyes of children or teachers passing in front of the beam. A DC lamp and progressive scan technology reduce eyestrain by keeping images flicker-free.
Vivid and smooth images
With 300:1 contrast ratio, images are super crisp with brighter whites, darker blacks and richer colours.
Seen but not heard
Quiet Mode's near-silent 28dBA operation suppresses fan hum, keeping classroom attention fixed firmly on your lesson.
Zoom flexibility
The projector's wide-angle 1.2x zoom lens lets you project large images from short distances - great when positioning the projector close to the front of the room.
Keystone correction
Canon's Automatic Vertical Keystone Correction compensates for picture distortion that occurs when the projector is not perpendicular to the screen. The LV-X5 automatically detects any tilt angle and compensates within a maximum of ±30 degrees.
Project onto any background
Wall Colour Correction preserves the natural colour of images when projecting onto a classroom chalkboard or coloured wall.
Economical
Operating in Quiet Mode minimises running costs and extends lamp life to 4000 hours. Power Saving shuts down the projector if no input signal is detected for five minutes.
