The VB-S900F Micro Box Full HD Network Camera is one of the smallest fixed box security cameras offered today. Smaller circuit boards and components including a compact F1.6 high refractive lens, with Ultra Low Dispersion and Aspherical lens elements are carefully laid out to minimize space - delivering a compact 2.13"H x 1.26"W x 4.49"D camera offering flexible and easy installation options. The superb compact F1.6 lens, with an impressive 96° wide angle of view, is a lens design that virtually eliminates focus shift due to temperature changes through a wide range, from 14°F to 122°F.
That is all combined with Canon's legendary outstanding image quality, coming from Canon's DIGIC DV III image processor along with the DIGIC NET II processor. In Canon's development testing, the VB-S900F delivered impressive low light performance, with 0.4 lux to 0.01 lux in color / 0.2 lux to 0.007 lux in black and white. Nine levels of exposure compensation add to the image capture range.
The VB-S900F is IEEE802.1x Client Authentication protocol compliant, giving additional network security through port based access control – vital in high security areas. Further security is provided by the support of HTTPS. ONVIF Profile S conformant as well, you will be able to integrate the VB-S900F into a network system with ease when working with compliant equipment from different manufacturers and third party recording software systems.
The VB-S900F offers a broad assortment of On-board Video Analytics, including Moving Object Detection, Removed Object Detection, Abandoned Object Detection and Passing Detection, that provide a wide range of options to help tailor this camera to your specific needs. In addition, by using the Preset Setting Tool an end-user can also create up to 20 presets within the frame, helping make the camera adaptable to the specific requirements of your security application/environment.
The VB-S900F's powerful 2.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor provides full HD video that can be streamed with the low bandwidth utilization and disk space usage thanks to the H.264 Codec, which allows video to be streamed at eight different rates (1/2/3/5/6/10/15/ or 30/fps).
The built-in microSD Memory Card slot allows the VB-S900F to hold an impressive amount of recorded video in card memory.
