The BlueOptics© BO08C38S1 Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver with RJ45 connector from CBO is designed for Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) high-speed applications of up to 1.25 gigabits per second over Cat5 Twisted Pair Cable, supporting Auto-Negotiation.
The BlueOptics BO08C38S1 SFP transceivers are hot-pluggable and can be plugged into a free 1GB fiber port of your network equipment to expand your network with an additional copper port. The transmission ist taking place reagarding the respective gigabit protocol, such as the Gigabit Ethernet 802.3ab standard. BlueOptics BO08C38S1 SFP modules are suitable for the use in switches, routers, storage systems and other hardware.
Each BlueOptics BO08C38S1 SFP transceiver module is developed by CBO and produced regarding MSA standards. By working closely with brand manufacturers for Integrated Circuits (such as Avago, Mitsubishi Electric, NTT Electronics and Maxim Integrated) BlueOptics BO08C38S1 SFP transceivers are designed for above-average periods of operation (90,000 MTBF).
