Chieftec Serial-ATA Backplanes 3.5" Multicolour

The Serial-ATA Backplanes as well as the detachable bays, are all exclusively designed and made of Aluminium so that they are especially suited to keeping the HDD's cool. The Backplane is Plug & Play compatible, supports hot swap and the Raid-Level's 0,1 and 5* (*after installation of 2 Hard disks). With an 80mm fan, even the fastest Hard disks are kept cool. The operating status of each hard drive as well as the power and the activity of the fans are shown in the front of the Backplane by LED's. In addition, there is a reset button which is also used to stop the alarm for the fans. The Hard disks are screwed unto the trays which can then be easily removed by turning the lock and a spring mechanism in the back will push them out.
