Water Filter Jug, 1.9L, Green The water filter contains ion exchange resin and activated carbon to filter limescale, chlorine and heavy metals such as copper and lead, and lowers the hardness of tap water.

Cleansui's unique hollow fibre membrane filter removes particles as small as 0.1 micrometers in tap water, such as iron rust and bacteria. Such particles and bacteria cannot be completely removed by using only activated carbon water filters.

The water filter uses a separate replacement-type cartridge method, in which a long-life hollow fibre membrane cartridge and a media cartridge which is made with activated carbon and ion exchange resin filter. Cartridge running costs can be lower, because filters with different replacement periods can be replaced separately.
