The Datapath Mosaic-SQ16 is the ultimate video capture card providing superior performance and virtually unrestricted video capture capabilities with a single or multscreen configuration. Used in conjunction with the and Vantage4-SIP, video windows can be placed anywhere across the multi-screen system and also arbitarily sized or maximised over the entire wall.
The Datapath SIP video bus operates at 5Gb/s and is used to broadcast the captured video to the graphics adapters. Each graphics adapter has 4 video overlay processors, 1 per display channel. The overlay processors select the required video channel from the SIP video stream, then crop and scale the video window onto the output channel. Each overlay processor has 16 scalers and cropping units allowing up to 16 video windows to be positioned on each display output. (Maximum 64 windows per graphics adapter)
