SonicWALL SonicPoint-Ni, SonicPoint-Ne and SonicPoint-N Dual-Band access points are based on the IEEE 802.11n standard to provide secure, faster access to data, voice and video over high-bandwidth wireless LANs. Scalable to networks of any size, SonicPoint-Ni, SonicPoint-Ne and SonicPoint-N Dual-Band access points require no pre-configuration, as they are centrally configured and managed by any SonicWALL Network Security Appliance. SonicPoint-Ni, SonicPoint-Ne and SonicPoint-N Dual-Band security includes Wireless Intrusion Detection Services (WIDS), wireless firewalling, Virtual Access Points (VAP), secure wireless roaming, and integrated Wireless Guest Services (WGS). SonicPoints are ceiling and wall mountable, and receive Power over Ethernet (PoE) from a SonicWALL IEEE 802.3af-compliant PoE Injector or other compliant third-party device. SonicPoint-Ne Dual-Band access points can also be powered directly through an AC adapter.
