FireGate 10NX uses the existing xDSL connection to surf the Internet with all the computers of the LAN. It is possible to configure different modes and Internet services for the computers of the LAN. You can create groups with different authorizations, allowing or permitting the Internet access.
FireGATE 10NX protects your LAN with security functions that include the detection and block of Denial of Service attacks, Stateful Packet Inspection, URL Filtering and Access Control.
To guarantee the security and the reservedness of the data on the "public" LAN, FireGATE 10NX supports the VPN (Virtual Private Networks) with IPSec and IKE encryption and authentication protocols. The protection keys can be manually inserted, negotiated or managed by "validation certificates". In this way it is possible to create protected "tunnels" (up to 10) between your computers and the remote LAN, sharing the resources as if the two LANs were direcly interconnected.
