In case of using security mode of LockGuard, password input message comes up first to mount LockGuard. DIGITUS LockGuard Dockingstation encrypt max 50 different (3.5''and 2.5'') HDDs and keep them safely. Users can control and encrypt several HDDs easily without HDD disconnecting from case. Please keep the Master-Key safe. If you forget your password, you have to go back to your Master-Key, which you get the first time of using LockGuard. It generates this Key and shows you the info via the front LED window when a HDD is connected. And LockGuard can remember and recognize max 50 different HDDs and each HDD has a different Master-Key info. But there's also a “Write Protection”, in which nobody can write or delete the data on your HDD. It provide a perfect data security solution for users via not only AES 256 H/W encryption.
