Access and data are encrypted using an efficient 2-way process, storing the AES-key in the USB Key. Once installation completes, access is only possible with both your personal password _and_ the USB Key.

SecuriKey does not restrict or limit the installation of additional software or hardware, keeping you in full control of your system. You may temporarily deactivate SecuriKey at any time and you can also limit your use of SecuriKey to either Access Control or Encryption whenever your situation requires this.
