This product uses a SF-2281 controller and will ship with 128-bit AES encryption until August 1st, 2012. After this date, this product will begin shipping with 256-bit AES encryption. If you have purchased one of these drives before August 1st, 2012 and require 256-bit AES encryption, please contact EDGE Support to receive an exchange (to be issued after August 1, 2012).
