The MDH230 is a remote fire door release that runs on 230V AC mains power (without any battery back up for periods of mains failure).

The MDH230 is activated by interconnected smoke detectors via the Ei128R relay base

The MDH230 has the ability to be interconnected to up to twelve alarms via the Ei128R relay base, to allow any of the alarms to activate the MDH230.

The MDH230 will hold open a fire door with a holding force of 180N

When activated by interconnected smoke alarms via the Ei128R relay base, the solenoid within the MDH230 will release the fire door allowing it to close
