Eiconcard C31 ISDN The Eiconcard C30 is intelligent multi-protocol wide-area network (WAN) interface card for PCMCIA-based systems. This Eiconcard is unique in concept, providing ideal WAN connectivity applications for:
* laptops for field engineers, including military-style rugged machines for rough environments
* embedded market, including telephone switches needing X.25 management, as well as kiosks with power and size limitations.
The Eiconcard C30 offers connectivity through one V.24 port supporting line speeds of up to 64 Kbps. The Eiconcard C30 allows you to connect over a variety of WAN protocols such as X.25, SDLC, PPP, Frame Relay and HDLC over leased lines.
This card offloads the equipment from low-level protocol processing tasks, resulting in a saving of valuable server CPU resources. The Eiconcard C30 work in conjunction with Eicon Networks' developer tool kits, allowing rapid application development by third parties.
