EiconCard P92 PCI PPP X.25 FRelay WNT The Eiconcard P92 for NetWare is a high performance passive card for PCI based servers. The Eiconcard P92 for NetWare is a member of Eicon Networks' P-Series family of hardware adapters ideal for leased line connectivity over PPP and Frame Relay. The Eiconcard P92 for NetWare is targeted for branch office LAN application servers, when low latency coupled with high frame forwarding capability is required. It offers two Very High Speed Interface (VHSI) ports, supporting line speeds of up to 5Mbps. Its "smart cable interface" automatically detects the cable in use (V.24, V.35, X.21, V.36/RS-449, EIA-530). The Eiconcard P92 for NetWare performs low-level framing while protocol stack (PPP, X.25 and Frame Relay) is provided by native OS. The Eiconcard P92 for NetWare offers a comprehensive warranty of 5 years. In the Novell environment, the Eiconcard P92 for NetWare can be used with such applications as NetWare 5, intraNetWare™, NetWare® for SAA™ and NetWare® Connect™.
