EICON Card S51 HSI + ISDN The Eiconcard S51 is an intelligent multi-protocol wide-area network (WAN) interface card for ISA-bus based workstations. The Eiconcard S51 is a member of Eicon Networks' S-Series family of WAN interface cards targeted for branch office application servers. It offers a High Speed Interface (HSI) port and an ISDN BRI port, supporting line speeds of up to 512 Kbps and 128 Kbps respectively. The Eiconcard S51 allows you to connect over a variety of WAN protocols such as X.25, Frame Relay, PPP, SDLC and HDLC over leased lines, dial-up lines or ISDN lines. It offloads the server from low level protocol processing tasks, resulting in a saving of valuable server CPU resources. The Eiconcard S51 works in conjunction with Eicon Networks' connectivity software and is supported by Eicon Networks' development tools and third-party products.
