With its high power rating, comprehensive features and high-quality workmanship, the BT-BD 801 E bench drill is a versatile machine for a wide spectrum of demanding drilling jobs. Infinitely variable speed settings from 450 to 2,500 min-1 permit quick and perfect adjustment to the requirements imposed by the material and the bit used. The spindle speed is indicated by a digital display. A cross-line laser marks the drilling axis, enabling the workpiece to be positioned quickly and exactly. Changing the bit takes just a few seconds thanks to the quick-change drill chuck. The drilling spindle of the BT-BD 801 E runs with high precision thanks to its ball bearing and V-belt drive. Its speed can be changed by an adjuster lever during operation. In addition to the quick-change drill chuck there is an MK2 chuck for additional versatility. The torsion-resistant drill table with all-round coolant groove is infinitely variable in height and can be tilted, rotated and swiveled without difficulty into the required working position. An easy-to-adjust depth stop enables high-precision, repeat drilling depths. A pull-out roll base helps to guide large workpieces safely. The sturdy foot of the BT-BD 801 E is equipped with slots for fitting a vice. High-grade rubberized handles, a robust stop rail and a folding chip guard provide a high level of safety while working. In addition, the On/Off switch with zero-voltage release prevents the machine from starting up again unintentionally after a power failure.
