RT-SP 260 D, 1900W, 400V, 50Hz The RT-SP 260 D stationary planer is a high-quality machine for precise, speedy thicknessing and surfacing tasks. Changing between thicknessing and surfacing mode is performed with just a few moves and a press of the mode selector switch. The machine is equipped with a professional knife shaft with two planing knives for a high rate of material removal and a long service life. Its powerful 400 V drive motor has outstanding AC performance characteristics and provides ample power for driving the knife shaft and for a strong, continuous feed.

The main body of the RT-SP 260 D is made of steel, while the surfacing and thicknessing table is made of sturdy, torsion-resistant cast aluminium. The parallel stop is also made of aluminium and infinitely tiltable from 0° to +45° For easy, precision adjustment of the thicknessing table there is a hand crank with scale. Very good stability is assured by the sturdy base frame. A practical storage compartment can accommodate accessories directly on the machine itself. In addition to an Emergency Off function, the On/Off switch comes with a zero-voltage release facility which prevents the machine from starting up unintentionally after a power failure. A connector with a diameter of 100 mm is available for a chip extraction system. This plane is equipped with wheels and user-friendly handles for easy changes of position.
