S1501 15", 1024 × 768, 700:1, 250 cd/m2 An ambient brightness sensor called "BrightRegulator" takes readings of the ambient brightness and signals the backlight to adjust the screen brightness accordingly. This keeps the screen at the ideal brightness level under all lightning conditions and reduces power consumption.

The monitor can be outfitted with internal speakers if desired. The speakers are tucked away at the back of the monitor and out of view so there are no obstructions around the bezels. Monitors without speakers have the same appearance.

For optimum viewing of different kinds of content, EIZO’s Fine Contrast function includes modes for office applications (Text mode), web browsing (sRGB mode), and user-defined settings (Custom mode).

With both DVI-D and D-Sub mini 15-pin inputs, you can use a computer that has either a digital or an analog graphics board (or both if connected to two computers), and quickly switch between the inputs via a front panel button.

This allows EIZO to keep close control over production quality and offer the industry’s only 5-year manufacturer’s limited warranty.
