EK-FB KIT EVGA X79 Classified, Acetal EK-FB KIT EVGA X79 Classified is a complete water cooling solution consisting of two separate water blocks for EVGA X79 Classified (E779). The water blocks directly cools Intel X79 Express southbridge (PCH) chip and power regulation (VRM / MOSFETs) module. Please note this water block cools exactly as much heat generating components as EVGA factory cooling solution. This water block kit also features a high flow design therefore it can be easily used in liquid cooled systems using weaker water pumps.

Base of the waterblock is made of electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality POM Acetal material. The sealing is performed by quality rubber gaskets.

Water block is mounted with enclosed M2.5x4 DIN7985 screws and PVC washers. The 2.1mm nickel plated brass screw-in standoffs are already preinstalled and allow for easy installation.

Enclosed thermal pad is used on voltage regulator module to improve cooling performance of the waterblock. On the southbridge please use any electrically non-conductive thermal grease, e.g. Gelid GC-Extreme.

A maximum diameter of a single barbs/fitting used on SB part of the water block kit is limited to 22.2mm in order to allow the installation of the graphics card mounted with EK-FC series backplate in the first PCIe x16 slot!

Please note: fittings and thermal grease are not enclosed! Four fittings are needed to make this waterblock to operate properly. All EK-PSC fittings are compatible with this water block kit.
